Personally I prefer biblical names. They are strong sounding with beautiful meanings. Here are some for you to think about. They go well with all races.
boys - Isaiah, Jeremiah, Micah, Benjamin, Moses, Abraham, Daniel, Elijah, Joel, Samuel

girls - Naomi (beautiful, pleasant, delightful), Grace, Elizabeth, Abigail, Magdalene, Esther, Ariel, Bethany, Analia

Have fun choosing whichever you like best. Most important is that you have a healthy baby!

God Bless!

I know what you mean!

Try Shyvon,Shyree, Imajin, Imani, Santana, Santasia! All these names are cute for girls. The first two are cute and unique for boys. By the way, my little sister name is Santana and I am 8 months pregnant and I will be naming my expected girl Imajin. But I don't mind if u was to use that name.

My kids are mixed (black/white) and my daughters name is Jaidyn Aniyah and my son will be Maurice or Qunicy.
But Jade is pretty for a girl or Marquis for a boy?

The problem with naming your child a "black" name especially if you go with the LA in front or the apostrophe thing or god forbid the heinous blended name is that when you child is grown and finishing college and sends his/her resume to the company he/she wants to work for like Goldman & Sachs their resume won't even make the "maybe" pile because someone is going to make some crazy assumptions about your child, his education and background before they even read it. If you MUST choose name like this please consider it as a middle name....If your daughter is Lisa L'atrice Watson she can go by Lisa Watson professionally-no one will "assume" anything about her BEFORE the interview.

I work with a very nice black women name Regina
I do not think it's only for black people, but I thought it was very pretty.
Congratulations
