Yes. If you are not sure where the water is coming from, turn off the water at the main stop valve where it enters the premises and turn off the Combi boiler hot water and heating controls. Call a plumber, and if you suspect that the leak might be from a heating or hot water pipe, get someone who is familiar with the workings of Combi boiler (sealed) heating systems.

You did'nt say whether it was the mains water before the stopcock?, after the stopcock?, or the central heating system?.
If its mains before the stopcock, you have to go out into the street and turn off at the main external stopcock.

If its after the internal stopcock, then just turn off the mains water and leave the central heating alone. (Because its a Combi)

If its the central heating pipework, then you don't have to turn off the mains water at all, because its a separate pressurised system. You will however, have the turn off the Combi.

Then ring a plumber, have a stiff drink and start to work out how you're going to pay the bill.!

NO need to turn the main stopcock off. Just turn off the valves on each pipe on the boiler, except for the gas pipe. leave the filler pipe in the off position as well.

Turn off the water at the stopcock AND turn off the boiler. Call out a plumber immediately after you have done this.

Turn off your main stop **** and then turn off the boiler...

You will need to call a plumber out... If the pipe is not easily accessable I would do everything you can to make it easier to get to, ie, pull up carpet and floor boards if need be...

Reason is that most plumbers charge by the hour for call-outs so if you can reduce the amount of time they need to be in your house, you will save yourself some money..

Also consider speaking to your insurance company... Some companies will send someone out on your behalf and all you have to pay is your excess.

Good luck...
