If I were you I would ask my hairdresser. I know lots of people that just colored their hair all the way through their pregnancies and were fine, but I do know one person that had a terrible reaction. I personally didn't color my hair until about a month afterwards and I was fine.

Your horomones are going to be out of whack for a while but you can go ahead and dye your hair safely as long as you are not on any medication. Certain meds and insulin can affect the outcome/color and it might not come out as you hoped.

You can get your hair colored. Your hormones are certainly whacky right now, that's for sure. But treat yourself to a nice hair do.

I used to be a hairdresser and I've never heard that hormones play a part in getting your hair colored. I colored my hair the whole time i was preggo and it didn't effect me or my baby or my hair. I say go for it!

Your hormones have nothing to do with coloring your hair! The reason its not safe to color your hair during pregnancy is because they say that the chemicals can seep into your scalp, into your blood stream and into your baby! It's safe to Dye away!

I'd wait a few more weeks. I did mine 3 weeks after having my youngest. My hair was dark blonde, I died it light blonde. I ended up with the same color roots and the rest was bleach blonde. It could've been a bad DYI store-bought dye, who knows.

Hair dye doesn't effect pregnancy or breast feeding....
It's an old wives tale!
The only thing that can happen is that you may not get the color you want because the protiens have been drained for the pregnancy...
