Anybody that allows themselves to be lied to and end up inducted in the military is probably better. At least they will have someone to take care of them because they are too dumb to be trusted to take care of themselves.
Entering the military is a contractual relationship. Read all the print on the contract. Doesn't matter what the recruiter says, but what you agree to in writing. If you don't like what it says or are not comfortable don't sign it. Only you can allow yourself to be duped.
And the vast majority of recruiters are decent honest people who have been put in that job, a lot of time against their wishes. Just like any profession there are some bad ones. Its ill informed brainwashed folks like yourself that don't bother to find out the real truth and instead parrot every bad thing they have ever heard that are the problem.
Tell you what, go find the nearest Air Force Recruiter and hawk a nice one on him. Then describe in details your injuries. If you are still able to purse your lips and spit work up to the Navy then Army and finally Marines. After you've made it through all of them then you have earned the right to ignorantly name call these men in uniform.

Don't you have something better to do with your time?
Yes some recruiters are liars but most are honest people trying to do their job. I have spoken with around 10 recruiters and none of them lied to me based on the research I did after speaking with them.
Why not spit on the youth who rather see America lose the war than fight for their country?

Spitting on a recruiter? They are in the military. So have your life insurance paid up if you decide to spit on them. Why would you want to anyway? That's something three year olds do !

It's a matter of national pride, and nationalism, to serve your country. If you benefit from the freedoms and liberties of our country, than you should be more than willing to do your part to help protect it. If more young Americans were concientious enough to serve our country, and understood their duty to do so, perhaps the recruiters wouldn't have to bait them.
You'd be a damned fool not to honor the military, and the two centuries of American warriors who've sacrificed their lives so that you could have the freedoms that you do. Do not blame the POLITICS on the soldiers; they are performing their sworn duty, and are not the ones who actually declare the wars.
Unfortunately, our president has told us nothing but a SERIES of lies concerning the REASON for this war, and any animosity you have should be directed at those who support him.

I think the recruiters are no different than the enlisted. They choose to serve our country and they should be admired for that. I don't agree with the war at all. But I think they deserve the same respect you expect for yourself.
Parents should be the ones to teach their children about the military and consequences of joining it. I think it's common sense to know that if you join the military, you might have to fight in a war and you might die.
As with everything in life, buyer beware and if it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Just this week alone, there have been recruiters in two department stores that I was at. They are not in uniform and are standing close to the entrance waiting for young men to enter. They then approach them and give them these cards to fill out. Actually, they kind of bully these young men to do so. Please do not sign anything unless you absolutely are interested in serving. I don't have anything against our recruiters, but I'm not impressed at the approach they are taking to meet their quota.

The days when you could get away with that are long gone.
I know a few recruiter's who wouldn't hesitate a second to put you in a body cast.

guy i don't be attentive to why you childrens concern related to the asvab lots. koko the gorilla might desire to take it the next day and get any interest interior the army. in case you have a techniques you are able to pass the asvab. which does not remember besides. they are going to attempt to push you to desires of the provider jobs in spite of your score. in case you have a job in techniques, you will possibly desire to verify they only talk approximately that interest, which they're probable not likely to do. they are going to better than probable positioned your decision on precise then "selective sell" you to different jobs that choose bodies. call their bluff. in the event that they attempt to furnish you crap approximately "wait lists for that college" or "no open slots," only say "ok, nicely i will wait, while might desire to I come back?" or "ok i will flow refer to the (different branch)." I assure you a string will magically get pulled and a slot will open up. Recruiters/counselors attempt to get human beings into particular jobs, even nevertheless their significant concern is unquestionably to get human beings into that branch of provider. they are actually not grasping, or attempting to screw you over, it is only enterprise. you will possibly desire to artwork on working too. surprisingly once you're thinking the army or Marines. i've got considered the run end extra careers than bullets ever have, so that's advisable to put in some hours each week improving that. So right this is my advice: *evaluate the jobs you decide on and have them already in techniques before you ever refer to the recruiter. do not sense obligated to compromise this, considering that they might careless what interest you get. *artwork on persistence working better than pushing/pulling/situps. *end stressing related to the ******* asvab. edit - each branch has an excellent flight college software, do not permit that sway you.

About as many who can expect to get their facial features rearranged. Although a favored lib tactic, I don't believe that would be a wise move.
