My DVR didn't record the last 15 min. and I don't know how it ended. Luka had his hand in a vice...and then what happened with Abbey, and Sam and her son with the fire...etc?

Fifteen minutes is a lot.
As you remember Sam and her neighbors were in the hospital. Tony, Meg, Neela and Claire were in the hospital. Luka was in the house with Curtis and his hand was in a vice.
Abbey was taking the police to the hospital to get Curtis's file from records to figure out where he would take Luka.
Curtis tells Luka to turn the wheel on the vice and tell him what he feels. Luka talks about the metacarpals in this hand crushing theblood burning and the pain increasing. That is not what curtis wants to hear. Luka thinks for a while and eventually comes up with the answer Curtis wants. he tells him that he is thinking how will he feed his family, what will he do for a living, how will he take care of his wife and children.
At the hospital Sam leaves her dying neighbor saying she is so sorry and proceed to check on her grandmother and her sone.
Tony has had to stop CPR and let Claire see that Meg is dead. Neela tries to be of some comfort to Claire but Claire blames Neela for her mother's death. Tony tells her that she is wrong but Neela has already left the room. Claire would like to know what now but Tony is not forthcoming with wisdom at this point.
At the jail the Minister has bailed out Pratt being as Luka got called away. Pratt told the minister he told him to close that clinic down. The Minister told Pratt that the work was not done. They went back and forth over scripture ending with the prodigal son and the minister reminding Pratt that even in that story the son comes back home.
The police have surrounded the house with Luka and Curtis in there. Curtis yells out, "Get away from my house!"
Outside the house Abby has arrived with Curtis's medical file in her hand and starts talking to the man in charge
Curtis had lead Luka up to the roof to put distance between him and he police. The helicopters were there as was SWAT.
The police are asking Abbey if Luka had a phone on him. She gave them the number and they called him.
With his good hand Luka answered the phone and tried to hand it to Curtis. Curtis had him put it on speaker phone. the police were trying to ask him what he wanted and all he could say is for them to leave.
The conversation was between Curtis and Luka as Curtis wanted Luka to tell him why he did not check up on him, why he did not do the right test, why he left him lying there in the ER that day. Luka breaks down and said he screwed up, that he was sorry, and that he should have done things differently but he didn't. Curtis is still pointing the gun in Luka's direction like he is going to kill him.
Back at the hospital Sam is talking to her grandmother about how things are with others. Her son is in the room on the other bed. She thinks he is asleep but he is not. She tells her Grandmother that she hopes that it was only an accident but she is afraid it is something else.
Outside the hospital Tony is sitting and pondering what next. He says nothing but he is alone and his head hangs low.
Back at the buiding, the police are trying to get Curtis to talk to them. The radio chimes in "A gun is drawn". Two shots fire, SWAT scrambles. The police call out "Who shot that?...Stand down....Do not fire". He tries to get curtis to respond. The radio chimes in "One man down"
Abbey tries to get past the cops and into the building but they grab her. She eplains that she is an ER doctor but they still don't let her go.
Next thing you see is two officers leading Luka hout the building.
Abbey runs to him and hugs Luka though he favors his crushed hand.
On top of the building Curtis lay there at the feet of three SWAT officers, his handgun next to his head, a bullet hole in his temple and a pool of blood on the ground beneath him.

BTW, in case you missed that I wrote two shots and only one bullet hole to the head. Interesting. How do you shoot yourself twice in the head with a revolver?

Luka and the guy went up to the roof, and had a stand-off, and the SWAT team took him out just as he was about to shoot Luka.
Sam's son admitted he caused the fire with a candle. One of the neighbors was burned really bad. Sam has some major guilt going on.

Luca killed Whitacker.
That was obvious as two shots were fired and the weird angle the hand with the gun was in at the end of the show.

Luka survived. Forest Whitaker's character shot himself after getting Luka to confess that he didn't detect his heart murmur.

Gunshots rang out & Abby freaked then Lucas came out fine....The guy had shot himself.
They should continue on about Sam & her son next week

im assuming its not getting the ratings it use too. the shows been going on forever. its an awsome show but it has to end sometime and let me just say...i was soooo sad with the past episode...they killed my fav doctor!
