I have done fashion modeling, I am 5'10 and a size 3/4, but I have not had much luck, so now I figure I would have better luck in the Indian Market, since I am Indian. But I don't know where to even start, I have a portfolio but I dont have any contacts in Bombay, which is where it's at in India. I wish there was somene who knew what steps I need to take in order to pursue the Indian Market at a model or actress.

I read somewhere, I believe in the Lonely Planet guidebook for India, that many foreign actors and actresses try to make it in Bollywood, but just dont succeed they seem to not be accepted. Unless you are of Indian heritage, your best shot would probably be move to LA and network. But I dont see why sending pics and portfolios to the production companies would hurt. You never know.
