Yes. When it seems like you hardly see eye to eye anymore and you cant find anything to talk about and you 'know' all about each other but you feel like complete strangers.
You feel like you both lead separate lives.
It's hard but if you want to make it work then the thing to do would gbe to completely surprise her.
We tend to take the people in our lives for granted and that is usually the cause of any rift in one way or another. Because we think they'll always be there we don't do maintainance.
Like a garden relationships are only beautiful when we work on them.
So now think of rebuilding your relationship as working on a garden or project that has fallen into serious disrepair.
start at the beginning. Roses, candle lit dinners (even if you order chinese, set the table and light some candles, &make it special), arrange weekend getaways, get a good friend of hers to help you. Good luck.
Most importantly, start talking again

OMG YES! I guess communication is essential and common interests, its definitely a 2 way street tho, both need to make the effort. Kinda not sure if your question specifically relates to the marriage or is it more of a sense of isolation and only having the marriage and nothing else? If it is find something to do once a week where you will meet other people.

If you can feel lonely in a crowd, then you can feel lonely in a marriage. Communicate more about things you both like and if there's nothing that you both like... then why are you together? Get a divorce and meet other people!! Don't make your own life a misery!!

It is possible because you may not share the same interests or communicate together.and you probably ask your self can it work I've always thought love would be enough but when your lonely or board it starts to get you down.you can try having one night or two if your lucky where its just about the two of you doing something different and exciting every time.

yes you can be lonely in a marriage for a number of reasons:
1..you don't feel loved
2..your partner is seeing someone else
3..you don't do exciting things together like you use to
4..not looking out for each others needs

A marriage is something you continually build till your dieing day!!

Of course it is and you're not alone. But you can get help - go and see your doctor: they are impartial and provide someone to talk to who isn't going make you afraid they will take sides or misunderstand you.

I was in your situation and it really helped. I'm now out of the marriage but much, much happier. I hope things improve for you soon. Chin up.
