roma people do exist ... and i dont think they are bad ... but some people will try to con u and rip u off .. i guess its exactly who u are reffering to ..

It goes back along, long way. Gypsies originated in India and moved on to Persia sometime between 200 and 600 CE lived in the Middle East from 600 to 900 CE. By the 15th century they have migrated into Europe. Because everywhere they went, they were "outsiders" so people didn't trust them. Because they weren't trusted anything that happened was blamed on them and when they moved on the reputation followed them for all the perceived wrongs. It hasn't truly stopped even today and yes, they are real.

well my ancestors are German Gypsy's - and I actually think it is great... however the general population has the perception that Gypsy's steal things, and are not trust worthy, and travel in pacts and help each other swindle people .. again, that is a 'typical response' I have heard... however, I still came from Gypsy's and am a pretty normal person - so take whatever you hear with a grain of salt...

people think gypsies are bad because they were nomadic and would belly dance to con and steal things from people. but hey, that was their life style. they do exist..mostly in Asia and Europe.

there not bad its just a scam to make money they ask very vague questions and you may think your getting a good answer but thay will tell you pretty much anything you want to hear
