Fountainhead countertops are solid surface tops and the way a fabricator gets a high gloss finish is by sanding grit by grit up to sometimes 2000grit. and then sort of waxing/polishing it. BUT, if you aren't up for all that (it takes practice to make it look right) there are some products you can buy at the hardware store. One is called gel-gloss, it's in a pink can and then there is countertop magic...These are all very temporary and will not look like a professional finish. If you are looking for it to look really nice, you'll have to look in the yellow pages under countertops or kitchens and call a fabricator to come out and refinish your top. Also, keep in mind that the glossier you go, the more scratches show up which means more mantaniece. I would NEVER put high gloss in a kitchen--maybe a bath...
