If your interested in horror films I strongly suggest saw 3, but if you haven't seen the others I suggest you see those before you watch the third or The Descent. If you like comedy you should see Wedding crashers or a good tv show that I think is hilarious is Curb your Enthusiasm with Larry David. A good drama film, one of my top five is The Illustionist its a new release. And another good movie is Walk the Line. If your into action you should see Pearl Harbor or The Mummy. If your also into romance The Notebook is an excellent romance movie to watch. Also my all time favorite movie which is a classic is The Godfather, I strongly suggest you see it if you have not. You should rent one. Lucky Number Slevin is supposed to be good, I havn't seen it yet but its the next one I plan on renting. Here are some other movies that you may like. I tried to pick a variety since i'm not sure what you're looking for.
Catch Me If You Can, Little Miss Sunshine, Love and Basketball, Gladiator (maybe too much blood for you?),Ocean's Eleven, Life is Beautiful, Beyond Borders, 50 First Dates, The Italian Job or You've Got Mail.
Hopefully you havn't seen them all :s

The Breakfast club is the best movie i ever seen it is about 5 kids who have nothing in common but discover a friendship like no other be for it was made in 1985!

I loved the Holiday, but I think its easier if you go into it with the attitude that Cameron Diaz is a bad actress and that is ok, because the movie is written for her bad acting and it is still amazing despite the fact! But ya its way good

Little Miss Sunshine is a very good movie. It is funny, but in a sarcastic, ironic, dry sort-of way. The characters are good too, with intelligent developed.
