Usually radio stations will stream their station over the internet. Find the station's website who you would like to listen to and look around for a button that says "Listen Now" or "Stream" or something along those lines. If you dont know the website use google to find it by typing in the station's name and the city.

you could install a tv tuner to you computer. there are several cards that also have FM tuners. i don't know it they have AM though. good thing about these tv tuner cards is you can record the broadcast. i have one and i record radio stations some times
