If Italians were to poorly copy this Greek concept as they always do wouldn't Biologum be something about making life miserable?

That sounds like bio-loney to me.

What do you have against Italians? Do you mean Romans?

Besides, I'm fairly sure that biology was a term coined in the Age of Reason, when a bunch of sciences were catalogued and refined, and Greek terms were applied because they sounded properly science-y.

I'm not sure what your beef with Italians is. I'm confused.
