It can't be Military because it's members are appointed by the Government. It can't be the Government because it's members are elected representatives of the people who also appoint some key officials, and a democratic government is "of the people, by the people and for the people". So "The People" are the real " Super Power".

Doesn't that put a total responsibility on each citizen to adopt, carry, uphold and protect "The American National Values- The values of the Super Power" - Life, Liberty, and Justice for ALL(including non-Americans), in their daily life as they interact with the local other-world( the non-Americans in US) and the world at large, because American leaders induce and propagate these values all over the world with a big bullhorn where ever they go.

This kind of behavior strengthens the basic premise "All Men are Created Equal", a solid basis for the woman's liberation movement in its early stages, strengthens "Super Power" and weakens "terrorism".

I think your definition may be a little narrow. It is true that America is currently the only superpower but it was not always so, nor will it be in the future.

Without referring to a dictionary (because I don't have one to hand) I would describe a superpower as a country that has absolute dominance over a number of other states and territories. This was the case of the British Empire in the 19th. Century, of the Soviet Union in the 20th. Century and may well be of China in the time to come. Even Nazi Germany was, for a short time, a superpower.

By these examples one can see that the political system in the home of the superpower has little bearing to the reality of the status. It is a dangerous practise therefore for a superpower to impose its values on the client state, even those values as laudable as the American Constitution.

All of the above actually.

By the way, we're all a part of the military.

See amendments, right to bare arms.
