My friend and I are trying to plan to go to Wembley Stadium on the 16/06/07 to see Muse. I've never been to a concert before, so I'm a bit confused. I have a few questions:

1) Would it be best to get seated tickets or standing tickets? I don't really wanna take a chance with the standing though as I don't fancy being pushed and squashed for however long.

2) I live in Birmingham, so should I check websites for coach deals to London? So far, the main prices I've seen for that is around £70.

3) In June my friend and I will be 15; yet under 16's are supposed to be accompanied by an adult. If we couldn't find an adult to come with us, would there be a chance of bluffing our way through? Or do they ask for proof of age?

4) Do you recommend any ticket websites for good offers/deals? I'm checking eBay as well. :)

5) Finally, are there any last tips you have for planning a trip such as this one?

Thank you.

I'm going to the same concert on the same day! I'm sure it'll be amazing as Muse are the best band ever live. Anyway, in answer to your questions:

1 Doors open 2.30 and the first act's on about 4.30 so I've heard. Bearing in mind, Muse'll likely be done between 10.30 and 11 that's one heck of a long time to stand.

You might get a better vibe being on the ground, but you've got to consider just how long you'll be standing. I don't know about Wembley, but at most gigs everyone stands up in seating too (which is annoying if you actually want to sit cos you can't see anything!).

2 A lift would be cheaper as the answer above me suggests. Have you looked at trains too? Sometimes you can get a cheap supersaver if you book a few weeks in advance.

3 I don't reckon they'll check. There's about 70,000 people going, I'm sure they'll be too busy to faff on, but don't kmow for certain.

4 You're best off with Ticketmaster as they're legit and you won't get ripped off. They charge a bit for sending out and stuff but at least you know you'll get it. There's a bit of a backlash going on about touts and stuff and they do try to flog tickets on ebay pretending to be genuine so I'd be careful as it could work out really expensive if you got ripped off.

5 Take/buy bottled water as you get really thirsty, especially if you end up near the front. Eat before you get in as venues charge you stupid money for food and drinks.

Anyway, hope you have a totally fabulous time!! xx

You are so lucky!!! 1)seated is boring. Standing is fine as long as you stay nearer the back if you don't want to get pushed.
2)That sounds very expensive. Couldn't you get someone to drive you there? Most of the car parks would probably be full though so you might have to park quite far away.\
3)Sorry, I don't know about this one. I'm 14 & have never been asked for proof of age in gigs but I've never been to one with an age limit. I'd say take an adult. Mabye they could drive you there too.
4)I don't really know. Sorry. I never get tickets off websites-I ask my friends to do it. They're usually from ticketmaster.com but I don't know if they do the Muse ones.
5)Always take a phone but not a bag because it's hard to dance/jump/mosh with a bag. Don't take perfume or anything that could be considered dangerous-just take a phone and some money if you want to buy anything. If you haven't got the tickets yet you'd better hurry up before they all sell out.HAVE FUN!!! YOU"RE SO LUCKY!!!

11 out of 10 ...they were just amazing...it seemed that they had a point to prove and they well and truly did that all right as I believe they expected to have the first gig at the new Wembley instead it was George Micheal mmmmm!!!!....enough said about that
