I have been spotting on and off for 3 weeks now. Sometimes the blood is clotted and sometimes it a brownish color. I have a history with irregular periods and have had abnormal paps. Should I contact my doctor, or is this normal? PS I don't have health insurance and already owe my doc hundreds in medical bills for previous work.

This does not sound normal. Would your doctor be willing to do a sliding scale on payments/balance owed? Please see a doctor, whether it be your own (that would be the best-knowing your medical history) or if need be, is there a low cost, free clinic in your area you could possibly go to? Like a health dist. clinic? Please get this checked out as soon as you can. Take care.

Have you done a pregnancy test? I found out i was pregnant in the same way. It was a high risk of misscarriage( hence the spotting)
Good luck
