I'm trying to sign up for highspeed internet with T.W. cable and they list their speed as 1.5M x 384K , which is unusual for me. I'm used to the kbps listings. I currently have DSL and I'm trying to see if this cable will be faster. Please tell me how fast this 1.5M x 384K is. Thank you.

Usually with cable broadband internet service they list both download and upload speeds. I've never seen it listed quite that way, but I am going to guess that you will have a maximum of 1.5M speed downloads but upload at 384k.

1m=1024k

1.5m x 384k means 1.5m from your ISP to you and 384k from You to your ISP.
