in your opion what is your fav. animal for a pet? mine is a monkey but i was wondering about a cat and a dog. ANYONE?

dogs are so much cuter kinder and will help protect you if there's an intruder
Golden Retrievers are my favorite dogs. I've had three already and I haven't found anything wrong with them yet.
To have the best golden I would make sure that they're AKC registered. The AKC registered ones don't have problems that the mutts.
There are two different types of goldens; a golden golden, and a copper penny. A copper penny is more of a showy dog and I prefer them over a regular golden.
They need lots of love and attention. They also make great hunting dogs and are very quiet and kind. They are great with kids.
For a calmer golden I would get an adult puppies take lots of patience.
Goldens are grest with very small children and are one of the most popular breeds.

Depends on your lifestyle. Cats do not require a whole lot (in general), dogs do.
Cats are good for cuddling and they are very cute, dogs - also good for those two things, but they require more patience, more exercise, they have to be cleaned and groomed. Dogsa re good if you're looking for a more personable companion, but the trade off is - you have to treat them more like a person.

mine is a monkey but if i had to live with a cat or dog i would so live with a cat because they are loving and i have one and have had her for almost a year

A dog becouse a cat will jump up on your counters in the kitchen which is very nasty. a dog will not do that. a dog will do his business out side and it is very hard to learn a cat to go outside instood of a litter box.

I like dogs better because you can take them for car rides out for a walk. Cats seem to just lay around.

By far Dogs are the best. They are loyal, trainable, intelligent, devoted, and way more versatile pets. Their world revolves around you and you matter to them. You can take them walking, on car rides, to parties, swimming, etc. They also offer protection. Cats do not care if you exist or not.

well i really dont have a fav. animal b/c i love all animals and i think they are all unique and cute in their own little way....but i think if u were to chose between a cat and dog it would be hard soo just both if u want them soo bad!!!!

I love all animals but I have two cats. They are low maintenance and very loving. I also live in a small house so they don't need a lot of room.
