I have a fantastic source for you. Ask a couple of teachers. I, for one, can tell you that I keep my classroom just a little cooler than I, myself, would like to have it. I do this because I believe that too warm a room creates lethargy in my students and undue stress. If I keep my room a little cooler, my students are alert, but also relaxed. On testing days this is especially important. Hope this is helpful.

I don't have actual scientific proof but too hot or too cold room temperature does indeed cause stress.
