Communism is not finished as they wrongly tell you. As Fukiyama said it was "The end of History" and now he realises he is wrong. Until the last Human is dead, no system would have won anything, don't you think? Before communism, there were systems in place. Systems found wanting. And here we are again. Systems found wanting - again!

Its important to distinguish between communism and socialism. If you want socialism well the democratic party is a great first step. Hillary wants to socialize all of medicine. It is critical to realize that the Canadian medical system is miserable. There is this rosy image that everyone gets the same great care. But anyone who lives in norther states bordering canada realizes they come here for their care if they can and they have had ballot initiatives to go back to capitalism for this.

I hate gas prices as much as the next person but socializing that would be an even bigger disaster.

You would not be the first to try it - Better off trying to form a party that just represents the views and interests of the poorer 80% of Americans. And even then, you will have to start small in one state, and can only win if you get big money (for pr & sales & marketing of your election campaign) to back your campaign.

How about readjusting your political views to adhere to those things that affect you on a macrocosmic level and the society at large. This would give you a better view of those things that seem to be at the forefront of your thinking.! MB. Signed, Sealed and Delivered Baby!

You can start any party you want to. However, the name "communist party" is already taken. Besides, why would you want to start something that has already proved itself to be beyond a failure everywhere it was attempted and has resulted in the deaths of tens of millions if not hundreds of millions of innocent people?
