They are just dopes. They want to flaunt waste/affluence and just follow the fad. To be big, fat and stupid, and thumb their nose at any sense of social consciousness.
Like high school jocks. Complete idiots.
How the hell did it ever become "cool" to drive a freakin "truck" anyway? Madison Avenue for morons.

Not all SUVs are gas guzzlers, many even get the same or better mileage than minivans or trucks. Some people live in rural areas or have larger families and need them, but this is a good step for people who, say, live alone in the suburbs and drive a Hummer ten miles to work every day.

First off I am an American and proud of it but like all nations we have some serious flaws in our overall natures. It's not just Europeans who are condescending towards us but the world, including our own people. For some odd reason most people feel better when they have someone too look down upon or compare oneself too. I know most people who read this are going to disagree but tell me you don't either look at someone or watch some of those reality shows on tv and say,"My life could be worse, I could be him/her/them." It's sad but true, human beings in general are condescending creatures and I will be the first to admit it. I will also be the first to say that it is alright to feel that way, it's what you do that matters. Big E....Visiting America for holidays is a sham for Europeans to get more material for their jokes. All those pictures that you take isn't to say you've been here but to say "Look what those hillbillies have concocted now." LOL (for those of you who don't realize it this last part was just a joke)

John Kerry’s SUV
April 23, 2004
John Kerry was recently asked whether he owned an SUV. At first, he said he didn’t own one but remembered an SUV that “belongs to the family”. The evil SUV in question is a Chevy Suburban used by Kerry and family in Ketcham, Idaho.
His answer was a pitiful stumble. It shows his guilt for owning a gas guzzling vehicle while asking for improvements in gas mileage for all cars.
Typical liberal hypocrisy.
At last count, there were eight Kerry "family'' cars and SUVs, including the 1995 Suburban (15 mpg highway, 12 mpg city), a 1993 Land Rover Defender (12 mpg highway, 10 mpg city), a 1989 Jeep Cherokee (20 mpg highway, 16 mpg city), a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee (20 mpg highway, 15 mpg city), a 2001 Audi Allroad (21 mpg highway, 15 mpg city), a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser (25 mpg highway, 20 mpg city), a 1985 Dodge 600 Convertible (26 mpg highway, 23 mpg city), and a 2002 Chrysler 300M (26 mpg highway, 18 mpg city). Kerry, however, only owns up to the latter two.
Then there's the 2002 Harley Davidson (his), two powerboats (one his, one hers), a power inflatable 2001 Novurania (his), and a Gulfstream II private jet (hers).
Kerry should open his own pipeline in Saudi Arabia just to meet family fuel demand.

If they'd just take away the airbags so kids could sit in the front again, we might not need them. As it is, if you have two kids, every time they each have a friend over, you need more seats than you have, even without another adult.

I love my Escalade and Denali. Hmmm.. AMERICAN company! So I am not anti-American. You Liberals crack me up. You don't want dependence on foreign oil but you won't allow drilling here. Where do you think oil is going to come from if we tell all those who sell it to us to get lost??
