As an independent (meaning that guy who will actually decide the election since the base of the D's and R's pretty much cancel each other out) I'm not a Guiliani fan. I like him more than most R's because he's a centerist on social issues and a fiscal conservative. But I'm afraid that a tragic moment in our collective history got more out of him than was ever really there.

I'm not impressed with the D's at the moment either but I admit it may be Hillary's election to lose. From the R side of the isle I'm thinking you may want to brace yourself. The last time we had an R this unpopular in the Whitehouse there were two place holder presidents (Ford and Carter) before you got another shot. In fact, if Ford doesn't pardon Nixon he beats Carter, Regan never gets elected, his vice president doesn't succeed him and didn't he have a couple of sons? Sometimes even when you win, you lose.

I would definitely vote for Rudy Giuliani because he will stand tough against terrorism, and he will not burden the American people by giving them tax increases. I definitely would not vote for Hillary Clinton because she thinks all men are the scum of the earth just like her husband, and she isn't going to do anything but raise taxes and then complain that taxes were not increased enough to fix the American healthcare system or the situation in Iraq. She will do that until she retires as President.

He's my last choice out of all the Republican candidates because he's extremely liberal and breaks with the party on most issues. Romney is the only person that I like, and Gingrich if he runs. I would never vote for Giuliani in the primary, but if he wins the nomination I would have no other choice but to vote for him.

No. Just because he was mayor of New York does not make him a person who could handle the presidency. Looking over the city is not the same as looking over the nation. Maybe if he spends some time in a Federal Political Position I would be more likely consider supporting him.

I love Rudy, I want him as head of Homeland Security no matter who wins. But other then 9-11 where does he stand on issues? I am not a Republican but it seems to me Rudy is more a democrat: He supports Gay Marriage, Abortion, and Gun Control

Do you really think that the religious right is going to allow a twice divorced man whose first wife was his first cousin to get the Republican nomination? Come on

Tom Tancredo! Standing firm on DOING SOMETHING about ILLEGAL Immigation problem. Also has good, clear-cut ideas on :
Defense, Education,Social Security, Taxes, Abortion Issue, Budget, Stem Cell Research, Gay Marriage, & Health Care.

If it comes down to Rudy and Hillary, I will choose the lesser of 2 evils: Rudy.

Over Mccain, yes! Giuliani has shown that he cares for the American people more than McGain. McCain has oft times shown that he cares to save his own face than he's in his concern about the American People in general.

Oh, by the way, I do wonder how many illegals New Mexico the Construction companies in New Mexico hired that represent its job growth!!!

No I wouldn't and if you're looking for better options, try the other major party ticket for candidates.

This Dem might. But we may have to deal with another affair in the whitehouse. Would it result in another impeachment?
