I use nero as well and all I do is make a CD with files or a data cd insted of a music CD you can hold a whole lot of songs that way.

Create a data CD and copy the mp3s onto the disk as files.

Note: This disk will only be playable on a CD player that is MP3 compatible or on a computer.

Due to limitations on file structure you can only store 256 files in the main directory of the CD (you can store as many as you like in subdirectories). As a CD is 600MB and most MP3s are more than 3 MB in size this shouldn't pose a problem though.
