Yes. You may have a wedding cermony without having the legal documents. In the eyes of God (which, i'm sure that is really all the matters to you) You will be husband in wife. But in the eyes of the government you will not be husband and wife.

More commonly it's called a commitment ceremony. But, if you thinking about doing this because you are your 15 y/o boyfriend want to get married, please don't waste your time and or money.

But if you truly belive that the government should not be in our bedrooms (or you can not legally marry for toher reasons) the by all means, go for it!

at your ceremony the Pasteur, priest, JOP, whomever will sign the paper and hand it in to you. so you will be married on the day that you "got married" on if not the date of marriage will be the date the paper was signed.
just fill the paper out before hand and give it to the person that performing the ceremony the day of your wedding.

I don't think so I'm pretty sure whoever marrys you has to sign it...We had ours signed right after the ceremony You should call you county and see ...I could be wrong

A priest, pastor, justice of the peace, or any other marriage officiant cannot legally marry you without a marriage license.

why would you want to the whole thing is to show the marriage and without the paper to prove the marrage your not really married and they and you have to sign at the church or court house after the actual wedding

I'm sure you can go throug the motions, but it won't be legally binding. Then you'll have to do it all over again.
