this site gives free stuff if you refer people is it true or not

I get spam emails all time for free notebooks etc....I don't answer any of this free stuff for it usually will ask you for your mail address and personal information and then add a lot of spyware on your computer. If you try it good luck though, but personally I don't go to those sites.
