I can't remember the name of a cartoon that I saw many years ago.The 2 main characters were vikings(one tall and fat and one short with a mustache). Does this sound familiar to anyone? :) thanks for the help!

Asterix (the short one with the mustache) was a Gaul (Celts who lived in what is now France), not a viking. Interesting side note: there is no evidence that the Vikings ever wore horned helmets, but there was a horned helmet found at Sutton Hoo, a Saxon grave in England.

Hagar the Horrible is the only one I know of. He's tall and fat, and his side-kick "Lucky Eddy" is short, but he doesn't have a mustache. So either your memory is off, or there's another Viking cartoon out there somewhere.

Sounds like asterix. But they are Gauls not Vikings. if you remember lots of Romans getting pummelled then its that one!
