I heard from a friend that there was an alternate ending, where jack doesnt die -but i cant find out if there is actualy one that was made. is it true that there is one, cos if so i wanna see it!

Not that im aware of, however there is a comedy sketch, done in family guy, about what would have happened if Jack had lived - its only like 20 seconds long, but pretty funny
the episode is called "Death is a *********." if your interested.

No there wasn't. It would be nice to see that ending, but I don't think I would have liked it as much. I liked the dramatic touching scene. It was powerful.
