My mom has a tumor on her adrenal gland. She has only told 2 of my sisters and hid it from the other 3. I found out this morning and cancelled my plans with a friend. He understood why when I told him she has a tumor. Im really worried. Its about 2 centimeters. She has had bloodwork and c catscan before. The tumor was found by accident. She has to have a 24 hour urine test. Im only 15 years old. Im really worried. My grandfather had cancer, my sister had cancer and now my mom may have it? What should I do?

I can speak from a little experience I guess. When I was around 8 yrs. old, my mom found out she had a brain tumor (which is by far one of the worst places to get a tumor). It terrified me, and it terrified her.

She took medications and after a few years it was completely gone and she's been perfectly healthy ever since.

The good news for your mom, is that the tumor is very small. The other good news, is that it's easily treatable with medications and/or surgery.

Just keep praying and believing that she'll make it through this. Look on the bright side, and don't dwell on the negative side. I'll keep both of you in my prayers..God bless ;-)

Be kind and comforting to your mom. Do a lot of work around the house and just be nice to her. If you are stressed now, imagine how stressed she is. Pray for her, your sister, and your grandfather every night. God listens to everyone and if you pray from your heart, he will help you. Good luck and God bless you.

I kinda know what your going through. When I was growing up my mom had acute heart failure. She died recently. That's what I was always scared of. That I would lose my best friend. What I did while she was alive is what matters. I spent a ton of time with her. She really did become my best friend. I'm not saying your going to lose your mom what I'm saying is that all you can do is be there for her and let her know she is a huge part of you life and your thankful for every thing she does.
