If this is in England or Wales, go to http://www.landregisteronline.gov.uk/ to find out whether the property is registered.
If the property is registered, for a small fee (£3) you can get an official copy of the register which will tell you the name and address of the registered proprietor.
You may be able to tell from this information who the owner works for, but you may have to do further investigation.

I would check with your local county clerk's office or local tax assessor's office -- they should be able to tell you who owns a property, since it is a matter of public record. Who they may be working for??? I don't understand -- do you mean who the property owners are working for?? If so, I'm afraid you might just have to ask THEM.

Why not check public records in the county where the property is? Taxes have to be paid on property, so there will be records.
