I have 192 MB of ram and cant play certain video games. I need to add ram but don't know what kind to get. My specs are: Emachines, T3104 AMD Sempron Processoer 3100+, 1.80 GHz, 192 Ram.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your machine should take 184-pin DDR RAM. Get a 512MB or 1G stick {preferably the 1G, especially if you're playing video games}, available at most Radio Shacks, Best Buys, and computer stores, and swap out the 192MB stick with the new ram, and put the old RAM in the next slot over. You can search both Radio Shack's and Best Buy's websites to see if they have what you're looking for in stock at your local store.

Be more specific on what type or ram you have. You buy ram which is the same type as in DDR and your ram pin.i would recommend using newegg.com to find a ram that fits your requirements. Also you might want to upgrade your processor if you don't it to bottleneck your ram and other specs.

take a look at your ram stick it should say pc2300 or something like that and you generally need a minimum of 512mb to play any games but 1gb is best. You can find cheap RAM here newegg.com

Try looking in the users manual that came with the machine or take the specs to your local Best Buy or Circuit City.

Look at the RAM chip that you have in the computer. You need the same type. If you aren't sure, take it to a computer store and they can look at it and then if you have extra slots you can just add more chips or buy one chip that has more memory.
