My opinion. Sociology is a more worldly viewpoint. I prefer to focus on the big picture to be broad, not so specific. Easier really, not so challenging emotionally. I prefer it to psychology. Fixing the whole is far easier than fixing the individual.

well, psychology is focus on individual and sociology is on group or society. So it depends on what topic you are going to talk about.

There is no better or worse. Depends on what you are interested in....the individual or people as a unit.
