Email, phone, text, write letters, instant messengers, webcams, digital photos. There is a million ways to stay in contact now a days.
When you can, go visit.
Remember, if it is meant to be, it WILL happen :)
Don't give up. It just might be meant to be, and no matter how hard it seems now, it will be worth it in the end.
If is isn't meant to be, thats okay too..

I ve got to RE-PHRASE your Question honey to make it sounds right.....
WHAT IF (YOU) LIKE........
OK ....There is nothing wrong of liking someone from the other part of the world, BUT LIKING IS NOT ENOUGH for you to Travel or move long distances BEFORE YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH...
First of all, when I hear that you LIKE someone...it tells me you DO NOT KNOW that person quite well...
You should have had a stronger word to choose; i.e., LOVE THAT SOMEONE...for instance....
When you LOVE some of them, this tends to be a MUTUAL FEELING with the other person, which has generated with the passage of time...
Which means you have developed an opinion on the ONE on head....
Which means in other words.....YOU KNOW that person well enough to venture through GOING / MOVING TO HIM...
MOREOVER, PLS. BEAR IN MIND YOU NEED TO BE IN A SITUATION WHERE YOU HAVE ACTUALLY LIVED WITH THAT PERSON UNDER ONE CEILING FOR YOU TO JUDGE WHO HE REALLY IS....
People tend to be different when you actually live with them, since they (become their own) (act like the way they are) and they show who they really are with NOTHING TO PRETEND OR NOTHING TO HIDE...
Now he could be either one of two...
The Good Type or...
The Bad Type...
And that counts his Temper / his reaction / his acts in general...
So if it is a matter of having fun is different than if it was for sound & future PLANS....
You know better who & how that person is, and the purpose of your visit, if seriously in head at all...
Being (young enough) to be prevented from going there that easy tells me you are not yet prepared for things like that... Unless you have experienced people really good enough and at a close as well...
I would suggest you proceed with building your relations with him IF AGE IS CONVENIENT and yet again if circumstances are on your side in almost all aspects my dear...
BUT YOU BEAR IN MIND THAT SUCH A RELATION HAS SOME BASIS YOU BOTH ARE FULLY AGREED WITH...
Make it clear from day one because ypu are dealing with somebody from the other part of the world, and not someone within your country or neighborhood...
Eventually, Meeting with this guy is clear to me as something has taken place before / occured earlier....; otherwise you wouldn't have phrased your question on him the way you did...
So, if he is likable to you, and it is the same way with him towards you, then this liking relationship could very much develope to a LOVE Relationship which is a better atmosphere for both of you as I could see it...

Not understanding why you can't go. How young are you?
I'd like to save up my money and go meet that someone face to face and be with that person. See if it's as really good as I'm hoping it to be.
