George W. Bush was born July 6, 1946, in New Haven CT. He is NOT a native Texan, though he moved to that state and lived there for several years.

The family of George W. Bush appears to be mostly of English origin. Some of his ancestors were in New England in the 1600s. In the ancestor chart I found for his father, I find only English surnames and locations mainly in New England, though I didn't look too far back.
