Is any of these graphic cards any good for doom 3, half life 2, pray etc.?

Those cards are garbage, you need at least this:

Nvidia --> 7900GT or 7950GT

ATI ------> X1900 GT/XT or X1950 Pro/XT

Neither are really any good at those games, goto www.tomshardware.com for video benchmarks.
