I certainly wish there were more people like you who express their views openly and honestly. As I have stated before, we are in Iraq now to free these people and allow them all the choices that a democratic society has that is not centered on extremist religious values, but on rather on human interests like entertainment, growing food, traveling, partying, or whatever they desire. I know the "western" way of life is portrayed as satanic and sure, if you watch reruns of "Jerry Springer" and think that is real America you are wrong. In fact, not many "entertaining" sitcoms or even reality shows actually reveal true Americans, in fact, most honest working people don't even watch TV and that junk. We work, spend time with family, fish, hunt, chase cows, and some like me...look for fossils and stuff on the lone prairie in my spare time.
I am attaching the following source that may explain why we, as a country of free people, feel that our way of life is threatened by your cleric and govt. It is the most informative article I have found and believe me I worry about the escalating jihad also young lady. Perhaps while you still have freedom to use a computer you can try and gather all the knowledge you can possess to help deter your clerics and govt officials from expressing the desire to wipe out America and western heritage worldwide including Isreal. Hope this helps your understanding some....take care young lady and happy birthday in a few weeks!

It is common knowledge in America that the people are not completely supportive of the leadership in Iran. We also worry about the possibility of conflict expanding in the region and mostly don't support an attack on Iran.
However most of the western world is concerned about the development of nukes by your government and my opinion is that it will not be allowed to happen. There have been reasonable alternatives offered to your president which would allow him to have nuke power for electricity and he has refused them. I think he needs to come to the negotiating table with some reasonable alternative to avoid escalation. I also think I'd be more concerned about Israel's intentions. Like it or not they are here to stay and his threats against them combined with Irans missle capabilities likely have your country square in their gun sights.
We know that the Iranian populace is educated and sophisticated and not some form of cavemen and I think we'd all find that people everywhere have the same needs and cares. We're not so different, we love, we live, we like beautiful sunsets, and the coming of a warm spring breeze after the chill of winter. We have friends and families and careers and hobbies. We love sports and music and art and we marvel at the workings of nature. Surely there is a way to work this all out. Reasonable men have to prevail.Pray for peace!

I know just what you are talking about alot of kids in my class comment and say just to blow up the all the countries in the middle east and I try to explain to them that there are Innocent people their that have nothing to do with the wars or the terrorist.America would attack Iran if they feel endangered or if they need some kind of resources.unfortunately our government(USA)only cares about what benefits them and how they can make money.its not right and it's the reason we are in Iraq right now not because of the civil war with the Sunnis and the shites but, because their building an oil line to make more profit.Believe they should make an alliance with Iran so they can help each other out and become more stronger.

I am so sorry for you that you are having to live with these thoughts weighing on your mind. I wish you could finish school and go on to medical without having to worry about such things. Every child and young adult deserves to have a life free of the pressures of worrying about dying because of war. I hope that we Americans may be able to find a way to help the people of your country develop the kind of government they want, where everyone can live free from opression and I hope we can do that without war. I wish you all the best in your desire to go to medical school. I am a paramedic myself, and wish that I had gone into the medical field right out of high school. Please stop by my 360 page some time and say Hi....by the way, your English is just fine.

To tell you the truth, i hope they dont. I heard people constantly saying that Iranians are bad and they are the reasons why we will be the next world war 3. My thoughts are the following, if we meet in a agreement with iran than everything can get resolved but if we keep arguing with them, than yeah we will. I heard bush say on tv that we are not going to attack iran but i have huge doubts on that. Honestly i believe that every country got people that are bad. Only god knows how many people hate USA that are americans and want to do something bad to it. It varies in huge quanties

i sure as hell hope we don't attack iran, we have no reason, but then again we didn't have a reason to attack iraq and our "president" did it anyway...hopefully now since the democrats took the senate they will block any war plans. Just don't think about it too much and concentrate on school, because short of staging a pro-us coup i doubt there is anything you can do.
i wish you luck and your english is very good.

I haven't heard of any such movie. Also, please remember not to fall into the same tendency that some Americans have by judging the Iranian people by their government. Likewise, all Americans (most in fact) are not the type you speak of. The culture and knowledge that came out of the middle east has been tremendously important to the development of the world's history and its people. And for your personal information (which I don't know where you get it), Hollywood is NOT under our government, very much to the contrary.

According to President Bush, America will not invade Iran, though that doesn't mean America won't bomb Iran. Then again, Bush is a liar and a cheat, the scum of the Earth, so it's hard to say. I hope America doesn't attack Iran. I'm sick of war.

I don't think America will attack Iran unless it becomes a threat......like producing nuclear weapons. If that would happen, the Iran would become a threat to the region. My personal opinion is that Israel will attack Iran first.
