Being too nice at times can be a turn off! But, usually it is a great thing! You're just the right kind of nice!

Hello.
Being nice requires that we are able to discern between those who truly need help, or those asking for help that refuse to try and bring themselves out of a situation in thier lives. A few moons ago I helped this young lady repetitively because she had three kids and a very believeable story about how she had reached the low point in her life. Even after she showed me that I was being used, I had to go go further, believing that she would change, or even try to see the error of her ways. This did not happen. So now I am particualr about everything that I do for other. There are many organizations out there to provide help if someone needs it. I will still help out a fellow citizen, but when I see that its really not helping but hindering, then im gone like a breeze thru the trees. Yes we can be too nice, depends on what you are doing to be too nice.

Well, I don't want to say no and I don't want to say yes because I might hurt someones feelings one way or the other. I tell you what, I think this should be totally up to you. You take good care now ya hear? What a blessing it is to have someone ask such an insiteful question.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being SUPER nice. The world needs more of it if you ask me, but you should be careful. People in this world like to take advantage of nice people. Don't get walked all over just because you are a nice person!

Yes their is such thing of being to nice...like cheesy peaple you dont want to meet a sissy that never stands their ground.

Heck yeah, I am someone that is way too nice. I'm gonna start being mean to everyone, just kidding. But I am gonna stop being so nice, but I'm still gonna be nice, of course.

No, because nice is not the same as being a doormat. You can be nice while not letting people run over you.

I've been told that I'm too nice by quite a few people. I don't know if that's true or not, but that's what some people have said.

Yes, if you're letting people walk all over you like a doormat. My advice is to be as nice as you can when the time is appropriate, but let loose when necessary. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS! =)

No, I think if your being yourself! People will step on people regardless of what boundaries they try to put up. But I believe you earn respect when you don't waiver against who you are. Being nice doesn't mean kissing someone's butt, or letting them get over on you. It's means letting them know your not going to change, your not going to stoop to their level however they try to come at you.Being nice means your mature enough for them to realize their stupidity on their own.
