Hi, I have a wooden leg that is beautifully carved and varnished. Recently though, my good leg has shrunk, which means that my wooden leg is now longer. This makes me walk around in circles. I did at one time try walking in the kerb, but some roads only have a kerb on one side, and that meant that I couldn't get back after I had walked down it. I have managed to solve this problem by nailing a piece of wood to the good leg, so that they are both at the same height. The problem now is that when I walk down the road people think I am a horse and sometimes throw sugar lumps at my head. Do you think I should paste some carpet under my leg ends?

first cut a chunk off the end of the wooden leg so they are both the same length, then get some furniture tips for the bottom. much easier than pasting carpet and you can choose between carpet, sandpaper, or rubber! Or you could just keep going around in circles and be a big wheel! LOL

Of Course not! Contact a doctor and ask for advice. Or just tell the people who throw things at you and think you are crazy to just well, shut up.

take a long lag screw and screw i into the bottom and just screw it in only as far as you need, then if it changes again, you can just screw it a little bit in or out!! good luck!!

btw clever question!! lol
