Im going to my schools winter semi-formal and i want to wear something punkish or yeah know like formal clothes but worn in a nonformal manner. Somethin that stands out and I've got some ideas but I need some outside opinions here cause this is and important event and I want to make a reasonable impression. Especially on my girlfriend lol.

Do what I did... Get your right butt cheek peirced with a 3 foot barrel hoop.
Actually, there are many alternatives... one would be to get some retro tennis... converse has a nice set made of canvas with skulls and cross bones. Go to the good will and find a nice polyester suit. Hair is a great, no obtrusive way to express yourself.

Try something ethnic or vintage; If you are a guy, try a 30's or 40's look; a "zoot suit" would be awesome! If you are a woman try Chinese silk dresses with the high collar; you can also be "punk" and try a long leather dress (with the emphasis on long); if you go with he long leather, also wear some nice heels and tan or neutral sheer hose.
