Is AIM on aim.com and AIM on aol.com the same thing?

I'm pretty sure it is but my friend told me it's not.

when you go to AOL.com and click to download AOL Instant messenger it takes you to AIM.COM so the ANSWER is YES they are the same thing :)

i'm pretty sure it is...if it isn't they'll interact with each other the same way anyhow...triton is just a newer version (if htat's what the "difference" is)
