They insert 5 minutes of sports at the beginning (sometimes more), plus the time set aside for sports. I'm so sick of hearing about sports, I could scream. (Oh, yeah, I did scream, but it didn't help.) I can't believe they give college scholarships for sports players! I'll bet most of them drop out. Over a thousand dollars for a ticket TO WATCH!! Come on! IT'S A GAME, PEOPLE !!! And, I can't understand females who like to WATCH sports. By the way, I'm a woman, who happily PLAYS tennis or baseball, whenever I get the chance.

Get a grip. Colleges give scholarships to sports player because they are GOOD ENOUGH and the college thinks that the player can HELP their team maybe win some games. I'm a female too, what's wrong with watching sports? Why is that a problem????Huh??? There is absolutely nothing wrong with a female who likes to watch sports, I like to watch football and basketball. I like to watch womens basketball because I can learn something from the PROS. That can teach me something. I simply watch football for entertainment. I also like to see Superbowl commercials beacuse some of them are entertianing also. And by the way, most college players who get a schloarship DO NOT drop out.

doesn't it seem like more people are talking about the superbowl this year than last last year. did they throw more money into advertising?
i hate professional sports. i think it's a waste of peoples time. if your into sports go play it instead of sitting on the couch drinking beer and eating chips. they get to obsessed with players and stats when they have no control over what is going on. people fight about this junk.
I understand entertainment but when does it cease to become entertainment and start becoming stress.
plus all the money that gets dumped into this useless concept that has little benefit to the world. why not take the hundreds of dollars they spend on season tickets, give it to charity and join a league, it's the same social entertainment benefit and maybe America wouldn't be fil with overweight people.
