Why do people sit at home and watch sports or going to the games to "watch" stars play. And they say to love sport. Why don't they go out to the field and "play" sport instead of watching sport and say that they love sport ? :/ Thanks.

They can identify with the athletes; they cannot play themselves, they want to see someone get hurt, or see a crash. Take you choice, it goes back to the Greeks and Romans. They name of the place where sports are played gymnasium, comes from the Greek Gym, meaning naked. Most of the athletes in those days performed in the nude, and many times, the loser was killed.

Not all people watch sports beacuse they are lazy or have nothing else to do. Some people do that, but it depends on who the person is. See, I watch sports because I can learn something new. Whenever a Women's College Basketball game comes on, I watch it because I play basketball and I learn things when I watch more experienced people. Now, when it comes to football, I watch that for entertainment. I just like to watch the sport, that doesn't mean that I don't have a life, because I do, some sports I watch for fun and some sports I like to learn about.

Well... do you love tv shows or movies... why don't you go be in a movie or tv show. Not everyone can be a pro at sports nor do they want to invest the time
