an e-mail from the wife of Yasser Arafat.. I have supposedly had one today from Mrs Sahu Arafat wife of.Y.A.. She wants to know if she can deposit millions into my bank account for safe keeping. She says she has been tortured and abused and is asking for my assistance. Beware....Once i give my bank details over it will as sure as eggs are eggs be depleted. Not that i have a lot but it is mine....A warning to you all dont be sucked in...end of sermon....

No of course i didn't fall for it. hence the warning to others...just being neighbourly...

It would AMAZE you how many people - STILL - despite all the articles in the newspapers and on tv, continue to send money to these people, and continue to get ripped off!! It is thousands of people each year. Mostly in the USA.

No but I had something similar I had a girl on myspace wanting me to add her and then she wanted to add me to her MSN so I did we was talking for about a month she said she was from the USA but was working for a tobacco company in a 3rd world country then she said to me she needed to get out the country and that can she put some money into my bank account and needed my account details I just block her after that.

I probably have too. I get so much of that crap, I opened up a new email acct and ony friends and family have it. I was contacted by the USPS Inspector in washington or something like that last year I think, and he wanted me to send him all the spam emails I still had because an envelope was intercepted from africa or some place like that with a bunch of counterfeit checks in it. That's creepy!

hi chris there is a lot of things like this about i was informed that i had won 1 million pounds in a coca cola promotion it seemed quite real but i checked on google first and there was a warning there about a scam i just delete all spam mail now without reading it

Wow, that's ridiculous. I'm glad you didn't fall for it, but sad to say, there's probably someone out there who would. Whoever's doing that probably figures if they send out a thousand of those e-mails and even if only 2 people fall for it hey, that's free money. People are really 1) stupid and 2) sick.

i think you should empty you bank account keep all the cash then give them the details and see if they deposit millions if they do ur rich if they dont just open a new account its worth a try

i got one chris but it was another name it was the same going to give me a million if he could use my bank a/c to deposit his millions for safe keeping
