is waxing better than shaving?

shaving is so much easier and painfree, but i hate all the razor bumps. how do i get rid of them? where can i get a good bikini wax at?

the only problem with waxing is that sometimes it irritates your skin. my sister got her eyebrows waxed and she got a rash all over her forehead.

Well, I'll put it to you this way; your aunt endures alot of pain if she does wax. Your legs also bleed where the roots are ripped out of your skin. Though this happens with any type of waxing--eye brows, bikini waxes.. The roots are ripped out, sure, but the follicle that the roots grow from will always be in the layer of skin and will eventually grow back. It might take a week longer than it would with shaving, but then you'd have to go through and rip your hair out again. I'd say do not wax--it hurts and it makes you bleed. Oh, I forgot to mention the temporary swelling that occurs with waxing because of the trauma to your skin! Then I'm going to say that if you're worried for your sensitive skin as far as shaving cream goes, use a little bit of your shampoo. It lathers up quickly and moisturizes your skin. That way, your skin wouldn't be exposed to anything it hasn't before. You're talking about evolution on that second bit--and while it has been proven that certain areas of a woman's body are now growing less and less hair because it's not biologically necessary anymore, in one single lifetime this wouldn't occur with the legs. Leg hair has a purpose--to protect your leg from insects--which it does on younger kids so that gene won't be disappearing anytime soon.

waxing is better because it gives u lesser and softer hair each time whereas shaving gives u harder and more hair each time
And with waxing u get smooth legs for a month but with shaving u get hair every 3 or 4 days .Don't u think we should leave the shaving for men because its a masculine thing while waxing is so feminine.

Waxing is better because eventually your hair will stop growing. If you do shave, use a lotion such as aloe vera to ease the pain of the bumps.

depends on what season and what your waxing. if your waxing eyebrows or bikini area of course! if you hate to shave your legs every 3 days than i'd recomend waxing

waxing is better, because my mother started waxing regularly since she was a teenager and now most of the hair stopped growing.

waxing is good, but you could develop in-grown hairs (hair that grows inside the skin) when the hair starts growing back. waxing overall is better though, and your hair has nice new fine pionts again!!!
