throughout my life i have noticed that small children and animals seem to pick up on things most adults don't. on some instances ive been in a room and my dog and my child would stare at the same thing for no reason. I looked where they were looking and all i saw was a blank, white wall. on other occasions my baby and my dog will start to cry and bark randomly at almost the same moment. These kind of things happen quite frequently. Can someone explain this for me?

Oh I am sure they can. Ever notice how both dogs and young children pay extra attention to the smallest things? As adults we have taken many things for granted as we have grown up. Remember seeing yellow for the first time? I am sure it was much more vivid than it is now to you.
Through life our senses dull a bit to filter out what is not important to us. As a child our brain doesn't yet know that the color green doesn't mean danger. It is also the reason why children and dogs both cry at the littlest things... they don't know it won't hurt them yet.

i think their senses are more acute and also babies senses r stronger being how the arent old enough to have them start to dull
