I'd say I'm in the middle lane, not going too fast to miss everything, but not too slow to not see the things I want to.

Absolutely noooooo!Lately actually I've been surviving rather than living.That's just because of I'm jobless and having a hard time to find employment.Moreover I dislike the place where I live.

Not lately. Been there; done that. It takes its toll on your body. Somehow Dave Matthew's tune "Too Much" comes to mind. Don't know if its appropriate, but you can only drink so much, smoke so much, etc. and then you just tip over and wake up with a bad head.
