Are you saying that it's OK? I don't think it's OK to "hate" on anybody.

Maybe the people are "hating" on you because light skinned/biracial correlates into "whiteness" and it is more socially acceptable to dislike people for being white than any other race.

It's still wrong though.

It is NOT okay to hate others for that. Remember that anyone who hates you for the color of your skin or your heritage is ignorant. The bad part is we find people like this in EVERY race. The good news is they are pretty good about announcing their ignorance so we know right away that we can ignore them. Just hold your head high and do not let others make you feel bad. You are as God created you and I am sure he did a great job. We are all created in his image. What more can we ask for?

Im not saying its right to hate but from my experience biracial people get the best of both worlds and I think people are jealous of that. One of my friends his dad is black and mom is white. He hangs out with a lot of black and white people. When your biracial its easier sometimes to hang with either black or white people without someone being racist towards you. But see if your black you might not be accepted by some white people and if your white you might not be accepted by some black people. From my experience biracial people can hang with whoever they want and be accepted by most people generally.

It's not OK, one of my very good friend is mixed and she is great! She tells me that black women don't like her, especially dark skinned black women, because she dates a black guy, yet she is partly white.

She says that she has trouble with some white people because they ask her what she is.

I think it's cool because she has got really nice skin and hair.

How can a person be light skinned AND black? It's impossible. Black is a color not an ethnic group. A person who is bi-racial in regards to African descent and caucasian should not be "hated" on. ALL races and ethnic groups have those who are prejudiced against them. It's free will.

Its not okay. Its racist and wrong. There`s no predjudice that`s okay. My advice if you`re having problems with this: Anyone who is too shallow to see past race or appearance is extremely shallow. They`re not too bright and not the type of people you would want to be around.
