No. You can see your regular doctor or go to an urgent care. They'll do a simple urine test to determine if there are white blood cells present and then prescribe you an antibiotic. Good luck.

No. Your primary care physician can diagnose a UTI. But if it isn't a UTI and has to do with your womenly parts, then a OBGYN is the place to go.

Of course not. They'll only be taking a urine sample and palpitating your kidneys.

They won't need to do a full pelvic exam, unless they suspect there's something else going on.

And a regular doctor should still be fully versed in how to perform a pelvic examination, regardless.

no i have alot of history with uti and i go to my normal family dr

nopee ive had soo many UTI's and ii have never ever been to the gyno, they just give me antibiotics thats WORKK.

no, a family Dr. can handle this. consider drinking cranberry juice, it helps kill this type of bacteria. RN. hope this helps
