only if it is company ploicy and it sounds like you are paid by the hr so no you don't get paid on days you miss

No. Overtime in British law is finished and payed for in your overtime rate. Even if you do every Saturday as overtime all year then this is not added to your holiday entitlement.
Unless you have it in your contract this is the law of the land. Total stingey filthy c**ts most employers are I'm afraid as I suffer the same fate at the moment. Worked Saturdays for a few years now whilst all my mates are out enjoying their weekends.v

When you are on holiday you are paid a standard rate, it varies from company to company, but if you are paid by the hour then it is usually an average of your last six weeks work, up to a maximum of 16 hours per day. Overtime doesn't really come into it wether you work the same days or not. If you have been working for the company since before 2003 then you should be entitled to double time on bank holidays if you work them, and basic time if you don't.

If its purely overtime then no. However, if you have done regular Saturdays over say a 6 month period without being challanged it then becomes an unwritten part of your contract of employment. if you are in a union you could argue that you should be paid whilst on holiday as you always work. Bare in mind the employer may agree to this but make your Saturday normal time. Based on normal holiday entitlements you would be worse off so if i were you i'd keep my mouth shut and keep my improved rate.

No, there is a requirement for you to have paid holiday's for the hours that you work as part of your contract however, hours worked as overtime are not included within this category.

As the name suggests, it is time that is spent working, over the number of hours your contract requires you to work. Therefore, the hours you have worked as overtime do not count towards holiday pay and will thus, not be included in your holiday pay.

If you do not actually physically work over 40 hours a week you cannot receive overtime. For example if Monday was a holiday and you were off and paid for it. Even if you work 8 hours on Tue Wed Thur Fri AND Sat, you have only physically worked 40 hours so you are not eligible for OT.

No, as overtime is always optional. Contract will state actual hours contractual with overtime as required

You sound English, and I have no idea of the laws there, but in the United States there is no requirement to pay workers for holidays.

no, when your on holiday you only get paid for the days that are basic hours, not overtime.

Have you accrued holliday pay?? I get 2 weeks paid holliday every year. I do not get paid for overtime during my holliday
