he should charge prisoners 4 their stint in Jail.
increase a few fines dished out by magistrates 2 an amount that works as a deterrent, rather than as a mild inconvenience.
he should 4 ONCE put up duty on spirits, rather than put it on beer, year after year.
but i hazard a guess that's what these super-casinos r 4, more CCTV 2 catch litter-bugs & more on the spot fines 4 D & Ds.
either way they need 2 plug the gap.

& other wild guesses 2 raise dosh.

the chancellor should begin by publishing an annual report on the nations finances, so we can all understand where money is spent, where money is needed, and whether we have anything left over at the end of the financial year/ It would be so much easier to understand so much , this way. After all it is said that most rows in the home are over money, or lack of it.The books could be shown, I am sure without revealing any very secret secrets, and we might understand the whole thing better.

Delay or stop the expenditure planned for nuclear upgrade and replacements. Minimise expense allowances for politicians. Do not give grants to build the super-casinos but enforce higher taxes on profits gained by the private owners

By cutting income taxes. It has boosted the American economy every single time it has been done while tax increases repeatedly have caused recessions and in one case turned a short term financial panic into a decade long depression.

If we sent all the scroungers back to their own countries, we could recoup the money given in benefits, & he'd have his £10 billion. Or he could always plunder the Lottery funds, which seems to be the thing to do these days (the Olympics are the latest to do this).
