does anyone know how to make a good testellation? 4 geometry?

Start with any regular polygon that tiles the plane...triangle, rectangle, hexagon...on one side draw in a closed curve that begins and ends on the same side, cut along the line you drew and tape it the side directly opposite. Do the same with every other pair of sides, and there you go.
