The toolbar is large and the icons on the desktop is large.

Right click on your desktop and select Properties, then Settings tab, Increase the Screen Resolution until you get what you want.

Right click and go to Properties, then click on the Settings tab and slide the Screen resolution to the right.. Don't for get to Apply

Try this, right click on the Screen and go to Properties, then settings, then move the Screen Area to what you want.

Press the ctrl (control) key on your computer then while the key is presses, use the scroll on your mouse to correct the size.

What OS are you running? Right click desktop...empty space... Settings...up it to 800x600 or more.

plug out your computer from the mains and then plug it back in again this solved my problem
